When I first went plant-based I ate pretty bland foods because I didn't realize eating clean could taste yummy! That's the biggest misconception I could have....I began experimenting with different ingredients and creating my own recipes! Eating rainbow fruits and veggies to fuel your body doesn't have to be hard or taste boring! Below you will find recipes + tips to help you transition to plant-based eating! All recipes are vegan + gluten free, and are quite simple to make. Enjoy these nourishing tips!!

Tips for Success

The easiest and most important plant-based eating tip is to PLAN! Planning means incorporating the following:

Scheduling out your meals (sit down and create a meal schedule weekly).

Deciding what you will buy before going shopping / going to the store with a list. This will keep you on track with the ingredients you need and help you stay on budget!

Prep - wash and properly store fruits and veggies immediately after going shopping. This allows for easy and quick meals to be made when its time to eat!

Batch Cook is a great time saver. 1-2 times a week batch cook your grains, sheet pans of veggies, a large soup, or putting together a salad (don't add the dressing).

Create weekly themes - Taco Tuesday, Pizza Friday....

Keep it easy! During the week create simple meals: salads, fruit, buddha bowls, sheet pan meals. On the weekends try more complex recipes.
