𝐇𝐄𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐌𝐎𝐃𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐓𝐘: 𝔾𝕦𝕒 𝕊𝕙𝕒
Today I’m going to talk about the Chinese healing modality of 𝔾𝕦𝕒 𝕊𝕙𝕒. 𝔾𝕦𝕒 𝕊𝕙𝕒 is a scraping technique that is used to decrease inflammation in the body, increase circulation + blood flow, and to bring toxins up to the surface. I use 𝔾𝕦𝕒 𝕊𝕙𝕒 mostly on my neck, arms, and hands to help relieve tension. My hands often go numb/ are in pain and this is one way I can relieve the feeling. Your go to pain reliever may be Tylenol or Advil…mine’s 𝔾𝕦𝕒 𝕊𝕙𝕒! 💥
1️⃣ Lather coconut or any kind of oil on the area in need of healing.
2️⃣ Use a bottle cap or traditional 𝔾𝕦𝕒 𝕊𝕙𝕒 tool. Begin scraping the skin in a downward motion, always moving away from the heart.
3️⃣ Increase your speed and pressure that you’re applying the tool to your skin.
4️⃣ Hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!!
You may notice bruising, redness, or bumps forming on the skin – – this is normal, it’s the tension + toxins coming to the surface & representation blood flow increase. Also, while doing this you may feel a physical release, that’s normal too!
****This is not advice given by a medical professional, rather someone who has healed them self naturally and uses this method frequently****
This is one of my favorite ways to help nourish my body and make sure I’m feeling good!! ✨✨✨
